Dual lot data that is given in the application process for sites with dual addresses must be captured in the additional information section of the application. Absent the use of encryption, the Internet is not a secured medium and privacy cannot be ensured. Internet e-mail is vulnerable to interception and forging. ESA will not be responsible for any damages you or any third-party may suffer as a result of the transmission of confidential information that you make to any third-party through the Internet e-mail links provided on the Website. ESA is not responsible for any errors or any changes made to transmitted information. Should you decide to transmit information using Internet e-mail links, you do so at your own risk. ESA can block an account at any time for reasonable issue or concern related to any suspected activity to the account or of any other nature related to electrical safety and non-compliance of any required activity governed under ESA’s authority.
Any notification set for inspection cannot be modified on the day the inspection is scheduled for or until 6am following the day of inspection.
Any application for inspection that was rejected and has not been resubmitted to ESA, will be removed from the account after one year.
While ESA makes every effort to process requests in a timely manner, for customers who do not have Authorized Contractor Program (“ACP”) status, requested dates for inspection are not guaranteed; users are required to check back to ensure what date their inspection has been given.
The contents of the Website, such as text, publications, graphics, images, HTML code, multimedia clips, Java code, audio, software, the selection and arrangement of information and other words (the “Material”) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws under both Canadian and foreign laws.
